The inspiration behind Hideaway Cabins and Structures comes from a lifetime of memories shaped around family cabins, time spent in the Pennsylvania wilderness, and later, summers in majestic Alaska. In those places, we found something increasingly rare — the chance to step away from deadlines, competition, and the fast pace of everyday life, and simply breathe, reflect, and dream again.
The peace and margin we discovered in those quiet spaces reminded us what matters most. That experience is what we hope to help others create for themselves.

Hideaway Cabins and Structures exists to offer simple, beautiful spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and make meaningful memories -with craftsmanship, integrity, and care guiding every step.
Meet the Founders: Chris & Jeni
The heart of Hideaway Cabins and Structures is rooted in a personal journey from a life of constant motion to a life of intentional "margin". After years of working very long hours, we realized the vital importance of learning how to slow down and take care of ourselves to better show up for others.
Chris has been involved in construction since 1995 and spent many years coaching high school and college sports as well. A former member of the United States Coast Guard, Chris has always enjoyed family, adventure, sports, serving people, and being outdoors. Jeni's real loves are family, animals, quiet time, and sunshine on the beach. Together with our two great dogs, Theo and Bella, we hope that our time, work, and service is a blessing to those we serve in our business and in our community.
